A world without hate; without fear
Where peace among people would always adhere
No boundaries crossed over
No hunger, no strife
Where sweet innocent children live safe, secure lives.

NOW
Envision the world that
In reality is
Without rose-colored glasses or idealistic ideals
Word-wide hunger; misery and wars
that seem never-ending, and ravaging the core
Of our very human existence.

But with such extreme contrasts, how does one find
The balance of hope; of sweet peace of mind
The courage to battle, to seek ways to remind
That although life seems dark - often cruel in its' ways
the reason, the answers will prevail
If we pray
For ye, we've been given great gifts in our time
Faith, strength and courage; Potential and pride
The solution to apathy, depression, despair
Is locked deep within us; to be released
If we dare.

To believe in a Power much greater than we
And believe in ourselves - for it's possible, you see
To IMAGINE, a world without hate; without fear
A world filled with gratitude
When freedom appears.
