What We're All Seeing

Trying to understand what we all have got ourselves into when we come into recovery can be a very confusing thing and difficult to do at the beginning for all of us, and we"ll all go through this and experience this. It's not the people that we find here in recovery that we're seeing, some who seem to be doing better than others, it's something else that we're all seeing that none of us are able to know what that is right now but still we're all able to see that there is something else there that these people who are in recovery have been trying to show us if only we can be willing to look at what this is. In time we all find that what this is has passed down to all of them and that this has been going on ever since the beginning of recovery. Even more important to all of us when we're new to recovery is we learn that we don't even have to understand what this is to be able to use it to our own benefit. As soon as we're all able to stop denying what we're all seeing and begin to learn how to look for this, and then stop trying to understand it, we'll all then be able to be helped by this, it's that simple for all of us, but until then there is no helping any of us, and unfortunately this is also true for all of us.
