Default Should Of, Could Of, Would Of

Many of us will get a case of the should of, could of, would of after coming into recovery. There is this sense that it's too late for a lot of things, plus we're aware that we've have already blown through many of the stop signs of life. All this is coupled with us now knowing that there's no way we can go back and redo everything. We'll end up being caught up in a lot of regret about things at first. The only thing that will help us when this happens is for us to have a sense of gratitude. Many of us scoffed when we heard that and asked what do we have to be grateful for ? Then it's brought to our attention that it could have ended for any one of us, as it did for many of us who were blowing through the very same stop signs that we all were. It was then we started to become to realize how fortunate we are just to still be here.
