Strength

I am strong, wise, and loving.

God, give me strength! How many times have I prayed this prayer, often in desperation? Today as I seek strength to do all I have to do, I turn within. I align myself with the strength and power of God that is always within me. In this quiet time, I remember the truth: Strength is part of my divine makeup. I am innately strong, and I can do all things!

If I should momentarily forget this truth, I step back and take a breath. Taking one brief moment to align myself with my divine nature, the God within, allows me to return to the situation with full awareness of my strength to manage anything. I bring peace and understanding to every situation.

I pray that ... he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit.—Ephesians 3:16-17
