Default Just For Today – Day 22

Just For Today – Day 22 - Putting Off Weariness by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put off all…WEARINESS
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
Weariness is defined as being exhausted, fatigued; tired, impatient or dissatisfied.
We all feel that way sometimes, but God’s word tells us we must put off weariness and as we do He will strengthen us to continue doing the good works He has planned for us to do for Him.

Paul said: “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.”
2 Thessalonians 3:13 (NKJV)
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10 (NKJV)

Just for Today, let’s pray for strength to put off all weariness in our lives so we can seize every opportunity we are given to do good for the Lord.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear Lord, Just for Today, with Your help, I will put off all weariness.
Just for Today I will not tire in doing the good works You have prepared for me to do for You.
Just for Today I will not lose heart for I know in Your time I will reap what I sow if I faint not.
Thank You, Lord, for the opportunities I have each day to do good for You. Please give me the strength I need to do the work You have for me to do. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
