Cry Out
CRY OUT
When we are troubled or down and out, there is hope. We often turn to what or who we are devoted to for help. If we are devoted to drinking, we will turn to a bottle. If we are devoted to pills, we will swallow a few. If we are devoted to any sin or anything of the world, that is where we will turn. But if we turn anywhere that is not toward God, we are seeking help in the wrong place. For when we cry out for help, morning, noon or night to God, He will be listening and ready to help. Staying devoted to Him will help us remember to turn to Him in times of trouble. Psalm 55:17 “Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice.” (NLT) Dear Lord, we know You are near. We know You are ready and willing to help us. We thank You. We pray You will help us stay devoted to You knowing You always have our best interest at heart. We pray You will help us stay devoted to You so when times of trouble come, it will be easier to cry out to You. Thank You, Lord, that You are devoted to us. We come to You today for help and guidance. Lead us Your way. In Jesus’ name. Amen. When we cry out to God every morning, He will direct our paths. No matter what we have done, we can always cry out to God for help. When we feel lost and abandoned, God is still near. We simply need to cry out to Him. Staying devoted to God will help us remember to call on Him when we are in need. Proverbs 2:3 “Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.” (NLT) Focus: Cry out to God. Be devoted only to Him. And He will direct your paths. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...d=FRANCESLUCAS
