Default Spiritual Dysfunctional

We all are very familiar with the dysfunction that comes from having our illness. It's part of us, our families and sometimes it seems to surround us. What was new to most of us as we began recovery is spirituality. We soon learn that this is what holds the key to our sobriety. We're able to feel the power that it gives to us and other people, especially family, can sense we've been changed by it. We have to be careful here not to be drawn back into the dysfunction that may still be with some of them. This seems hard to do at times. I remember thinking it felt like I had to choose between my family or my sobriety. We'll always be a part of our families. In our recovery we just choose not to be part of the dysfunction of some of those close to us still have, With them we "ONLY" share what has worked for us "IF" they ask, anything else can be quite dangerous to us.
