Roadblock To Recovery

There are many things that we will all encounter that are true roadblocks to all of us being able to get and be in recovery and we'll all have to overcome all these if we expect to be in recovery. One that's very common for most of us has to do with fairness. Most of us think that it's not fair that we have to be in recovery while everyone else gets to go on doing whatever they want and living however they like while we can't any longer because of us being in recovery. If we stop for a moment and fast forward looking at this down the road a bit we'll all be able to see all the pain and misery that comes from this problem and from all of us having to live the way we all have to because having this problem that all of us in recovery will be spared of because of being in recovery. Then we'll no longer think of us being in recovery as being unfair, and all of us will be glad that we are in recovery and that we are able to get ourselves separated from all the merciless things that happened to all of us who have this problem and who aren't in recovery. Then most of us have learned that it's better for all of us to have mercy then fairness when it comes to having this problem.
