I have to be honest. There are many times in my life I’ve felt defeated. My body was tired and my mind just couldn’t take anymore, my soul even weary. But God gave me this day and everyday to be here on earth for a reason. I’ve come across lots of people with their own set of stories to tell and problems they’ve bared. Everyone has been through rough times. Well…I can’t speak for everyone, so let’s just say most people have been through rough times.

During my rough times, God revealed himself to me in the most raw way then in any other time of my life so far. He walked me through every single step of the way even though I am a wretched sinner. God knows me better than I know me. He knew what I could handle. He put me in situations that allowed my character to grow and develop. At the moment I didn’t realize that but I do now. Now I can relate to people better and help them get through their rough time. People would ask me, “How did you get through it?” I would and still do answer, “GOD.” That’s it. A one word answer. Some people would say, “Yeah, but how?” I’d kind of chuckle and say,” I don’t know how He was just there, holding my hand through every single second of the day.” He loves me. He loves you. He will walk you through anything. You may not like the journey but we have to trust that whatever is happening it is for a reason. The reason may not be known at this very moment but it will be known eventually. It could even take years. Be patient. Wait, because He waits for you and He is beyond patient with us. When you draw near Him, He draws closer to you. Surrender yourself and have faith.

I know sometimes, it seems as though God may drift way and has left you. Let me tell you now He’s never far. He’s always listening. He’s always loving and forgiving. So, even if you think you are at a point of no return with Him, never fear, He’s right beside you. Never give up. Never lose faith. It’s never to late to turn to Him. He will not reject His creation. YOU.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. ~Crystal Marina

“The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, ‘O God, forgive me,’ or ‘Help me.’” – Billy Graham

Dear Lord, Thank you for another day. Please walk us through this journey we call life. Even though it may be hard, we trust you and we will never forget that your love for us conquers all worldly things. ~Amen
