Tam's Stuffing
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2 boxes Stove Top Turkey stuffing 3 Stale Food Lion brand french hoagies broken up into little pieces 1 pack of Zesta crackers (saltines) crunched up 1 1/2 cup Swanson unsalted chicken broth 1 1/2 cup carrot broth **Instructions below 1 large carrot diced 1 celery stalk diced 1 medium onion diced 1/4 cup green pepper diced 1 - 8 oz pack fresh sliced mushrooms rinsed and chopped 3 cloves of garlic crushed 1/2 small can of cream of mushroom soup 1/2 teaspoon oregano salt and pepper to taste **Bring 3 cups of water to boil and then cut off water and put diced carrots in the water. Let the carrots sit in the water for about 10 minutes to soften them. Drain the water out of the carrots and reserve the carrot broth water to use later. Put soften diced carrots aside to use later. Mix together all above ingredients very good by hand until mushy and put in a 8 in x 11 inch casserole dish (or a bigger dish if you don't want it as thick) that has been greased with butter and bake on 350 until done to your liking. For me it was about an hour and 45 minutes using an 8 x 11 dish and then I cut the oven off and let it sit in the oven for another 15 minutes. Let cool and put up in fridge for Turkey day!
