Spending Time
When we give our time to God by reading His word, going to church and praying to Him, we will find that we have plenty of time to do what needs to be done. We will have time for family, friends and fellowship. We will have time for doing His will and sharing His word. However, if we spend our time doing what we want rather than what He wants, we will seem to never have enough time. Luke 12:31 "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need." (NLT) Dear Lord, we know we are to seek You first. We know we are to give You the first of our fruits, our time and our lives. Remind us today to put You first in our lives by giving You our time. We want to spend the first of our day with You. We want to spend the first of our week with You. We want to live according to Your will and not our own. Guide us today. In Jesus' name. Amen. We should examine how we spend our time and be sure we are doing God's will with our time. Our time is a gift from God to use wisely so we are glorifying Him in all we do. When we put God first in our schedule, He will make sure everything else gets done. God wants us to use our time wisely according to His will and not our own. God tells us to never tire of doing good. What good are we doing today that will serve others and give Him the glory? 2 Thessalonians 3:13b "never get tired of doing good." (NLT) Focus: Giving God the first part of our day is the best way to start it off on the right track. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...log_id=6167951
