Default Remember you not the former things

Remember you not the former things

Remember you not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19

Praise the Lord for this beautiful Scripture this morning! Hallelujah! Glory to His Holy name.

The message is very clear, no explanation needed. The Lord is doing a new thing in your life. Yes today! Amen!

Just as how He was capable of making a way in the wilderness and rivers out of desert for the Israelites, He is capable of bringing forth a new blessing in our lives. Today!

All we are asked to do is, to believe. We are not to entertain thoughts of negative outcomes. We must not look back at the past and wonder over the times of when we failed, when things didn't materialize, when something worse happened to someone else you know etc.

Things will happen all around us. We will hear about it. But we need not fear. We are not to look back and compare our situation with those around us. Because the Scripture clearly says, in Psalm 91:7-8:

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

We have a special protection. A divine promise. That our Lord will do a new thing for us. Amen!

Today! Praise the Lord!

Those who believe it, join me in praising the Lord a few minutes, reiterating the promise given to us today. Others, rebuke your unbelief and join me in praising the Lord, claiming the promise for your lives - today!

"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth." Isaiah 43:19

Remember to forget the old failures. God bless you all. Have a blessed weekend.

Coffee with Jesus

In early recovery, I was told, you are not your disease. What you did in active addiction, doesn't portray who you are, it was your disease talking. I was responsible for my actions, because I made the choice, no one could make it for me unless I gave my power over to them.

People who are spiritual and religious can still act out in their dis-ease and slip into old ways or refuse to change and hang onto old beliefs and habits that don't serve them in today.
