Wherever You Go
We go a lot of places and do a lot of things. We sometimes get sidetracked, lazy, tired, afraid and aggravated. There are times we just simply give up on what we are trying to do because we just can’t do it any longer. We may be upset with someone else. We may be unsure about what is going to happen. We may be afraid. But we have a promise, that no matter what we are doing – God is with us wherever we go and we should be strong and courageous. And whatever He calls us to do, we should be courageous remembering He will always be with us wherever we go. Joshua 1:9 “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (NLT) Dear Lord, thank You for being with us everywhere we go. Thank You for Your command for us to be strong and courageous. Help us to focus on You in all things and at all times. We know there will be times when we get tired, when we get lazy and when we are afraid. Help us to remember, in those times, that You are with us. And help us to remember to remain in fellowship with You wherever we go. To be strong and courageous is not a choice for us to decide to do or not to do – it is a command from God. When we feel alone, we can remember God is with us wherever we go. When we feel afraid, we can remember God is with us wherever we go. When we feel discouraged, we can remember God is with us wherever are go. When we remain in fellowship with Christ wherever we go, we will always have the courage to do what He calls us to do. 1 John 2:28 “And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.” http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...log_id=5612785
