Today's Inspiring Thought: Your Humble Servant

One day I received this simple yet profound prayer from a site visitor, Sherry Blakeney:

"Dear Lord, no matter how successful I become, touch my heart so I may touch another; for Lord, I am forever your humble servant."

Though the Lord may, indeed, exalt us with success, we must always remain his humble servants.

The Bible verse for yesterday I got from the Scripture Tree, you just click on a flower, and I just take the one I am lead to. I am just reading this now, an hour and 11 minutes after posting the verse.

A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Proverbs 29:23 KJV

As they say, that's not odd, that's God.
