What if I lose my job? What if someone close to me dies unexpectedly? What if life never gets any better than this? What if I can’t have children? What if my biopsy comes back malignant? What if I can’t afford my home? What if …

Maybe some of these feelings strike a chord in you. Perhaps, you’ve had some of the same paralyzing thoughts. I think all of these contemplations can be summed up in one word – WORRY!

As I was reading the above verse my Bible this morning, God showed me an important meaning behind His words. The things in our lives that are of God, are protected by God.

You can’t imagine what a welcomed thought this was for a person like me, who is well equipped with the personality of a worrier. Because of this small nugget of truth, I am able to trade in my worrier personality for a warrior personality. I know that God is protecting His work in me, and that is really all that matters. The work of Christ in my life is the only thing that has eternal staying power.

Let’s transform from worriers into warriors today!

Jesus, thank you for your work in my life. Thank you for protecting your efforts in me. God, transform my worry today.

How many times you thought your life was ended and there was no purpose to life.

Recovery gave me a purpose to my life, even when I couldn't always get to a meeting. I was given a computer, so I could continue to do service and share with others on line.

My primary purpose is to share the message of recovery. I try not to give advice, just share what worked for me. My dis-ease was many faceted, so I had to look at all areas of my life. I found ONE God fits all.

As they say, "Worry is fear that hasn't said it's prayers."

For me the Sun is healing. Light is all powerful. When I meditate and ask for the White Light to surround me and permeate my Soul and cleaning of all darkness.

May the White Light of Love and the Spirit of the Universe be with you and grant you the healing that has been given to me.
