January 16: Issues that have been long standing will finally come to resolution, and you will feel like you are back in a familiar flow of life and spirit. There will be a sense of being able to breathe again in a place that is recognizable. Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

January 17: Take time out from all of the distractions of life to spend time in My presence, says the Lord. Do not just say a prayer and be on your way; truly connect quietly and spiritually. Receive the essence of goodness and blessings that have been stored up for you. Be filled with possibilities and hope for the future. I am for you and with you. Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

January 18: You have come to a place of understanding why you are where you are, and you have made great progress in leaving the past behind. Now it is time to look ahead and establish goals for the future. Bring more clarity to what you want or need to accomplish in the days ahead. Begin to outline and formulate your desires. Philippians 3:12-14 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

January 19: You have been in a time of reflection, which is a good thing sometimes. But, you must not get stuck in a place of regret for some of the choices you made. What is done is done. Leave the past behind and move forward in hope and faith for a better future. I am with you to guide you and direct your steps. Do not be afraid. Roman 8:1-2 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

January 20: Take advantage of every opportunity to be empathetic and compassionate for the suffering of others. I have given you an understanding heart because of the situations and circumstances you have faced in the past and overcome. Pray earnestly for those who need a breakthrough. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

January 21: Through spiritual righteousness you can escape the penalty of sin, which is death and separation from God. Make every effort to do good and be good in every aspect of living and being, and draw near to the Lord always. You have been given the power of free will to choose your destiny. Romans 8:1-4 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

January 22: Establish peace in your heart. You can do this by resolving the issues that cause you to worry and take you off course. Deal with problems that you have authority over, and release the things that you can do nothing about. Bring those things that concern you to Me in prayer, says the Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

January 23: This is a new day. Life has seemed to be more difficult, and sometimes even impossible, but you can and will rise above your disappointment and discouragement. Renew your memory of pressing through even more onerous times than these. With My help you will prevail, and this too shall pass. Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

January 24: Push through the difficulties that seem to loom large. You cannot solve every issue all at once, but you can take one thing at a time and seek wisdom about how to deal with it. I will show you the way to resolution, says the Lord. Quiet your soul and wait for My leading. Psalm 131:2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

January 25: Search until you find that place in the Spirit where you have faith, grace, and peace. It is your sweet spot and a place where you can gain understanding not only of yourself, but of those around you. It is a place of love and appreciation where you can both survive and thrive. Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

January 26: Stay the course. Be strong and refuse to deviate from what you know is right and good. The problems that you face will be resolved shortly, but you must be calm and do what you can to stay in order. Put your complete trust in Me to reveal the value of your recent challenges and to unveil our divine purpose, says the Lord. Romans 14:19 Therefore let us pursue the things which make fore peace and the things by which one may edify another.

January 27: I woke up this morning internally griping about my work load for the day, and the Lord broke into my thoughts to say: Those who trust in Me do not gripe. Oops! I do know that I can put my trust in Him to lead, guide, direct and protect me. He gives me strength to do all that I need to do today and every day. All I have to do is have faith in Him. Amen. Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.

January 28: There are still issues that must be dealt with, and this is the time to bring those nagging issues to a conclusion. Put aside dread and the feeling of incompetence, and give it another try. There have been unforeseen circumstances that were beyond your control that you can now resolve. Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

January 29: When your days get hectic, take a deep breath, and settle your soul. What you are worried about will become a thing of the past shortly. Be patient and continue to walk in faith that I am with you and for you, and you can rely on Me, says the Lord. This has been a valley of shadows, but breakthrough is imminent. Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

January 30: For those who have been used, abused, and overlooked, lift up your head. You are not dismissed by Almighty God. He loves, appreciates, and values you as His own prized possession. Set your heart to love Him back and establish intimate relationship with Him. He knows what you have endured. Seek Him and receive His mercy, favor and grace. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
