What Is It?

What we'll find in recovery is no different than what it was we were all looking for outside of recovery that none of us could ever find. That's just because we didn't know how to look in a way that would allow us to find what we find in recovery. And for most of us in recovery we're not even really sure of what it was we were looking for, it was something. Whatever that is, we know now that we have found it by being in recovery and our journey has finally ended to find it. It now becomes time to help someone else who, like us, is trying to find something they're not even sure of what they're looking for, or how to find it, but nonetheless in the same way as us are looking for something. We've all been looking for something and even though we don't always know what exactly that is, or even how to find it, we do know for sure we'll always find by looking for it in recovery.
