It's hard when we feel as newcomers we have nothing to contribute. It's actually to the contrary we offer a lot more than any of us will ever really know. In recovery seniority is replaced with spirituality where all things have an equal value and are shared freely. We try not to emphasize that anything or anyone as having more than the rest. All who participate are contributing to the common cause of helping each other and this can be done in many different ways that work. When we do this we achieve a feeling of oneness that is very important to all of us. We understand that no matter what we share it is of equal importance. This is where the beauty of the program comes from: we waste nothing and find a place for everything. We all belong here as soon as we realize we do.
