Recovery is different from anything we have ever known; it's something that we're all not accustomed to. It can be quite overwhelming especially when we're new. This makes it hard for us to feel like we're getting the help we're seeking, or that it's going to work. What we need to know is this, because we have made it this far, we've already been helped more than we know. Many of us never get the chance we now have to recover, we are the lucky ones. So many have died without not knowing all that we'll find out about in our recovery. We'll hear so many things, we've never heard before, and lots of it doesn't make any sense and that's okay, it's not supposed to now, but later on will. If we can just sit there and listen to it all, take in what we can, we'll be doing all that we're capable of now. The rest will come later and we know when that this is because we'll no longer be overwhelmed
