Default All Day Long Strong

ALL DAY LONG STRONG

We all have our times of day when we are not at our best. Some of us are morning people and by the end of the day, we are exhausted. Some of us get that lull in mid-afternoon and just don’t want to work any longer. Others may be night owls and get their energy and ideas late at night. God knows when we are weak and when we are strong. And, when we keep our focus on Him – all day long – we can be all day long strong doing His will. So rather than relying on worldly things to keep us strong, let’s rely on God.

2 Corinthians 10:4 “We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to use Your mighty weapons to do Your will every day. We know strongholds of the devil sometimes tempt us to give up and quit. So we pray today You will keep us strong – all day long. Strong against the devils temptations. Strong against resisting worldly sin. Strong so we can do Your will. We know without You we are weak. We know we can’t do anything well unless we allow You to work through us. Keep us strong today, Lord, to do Your will all day long. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God’s mighty weapons will help us be strong against the devil.

God’s word will help us deal with any false human reasoning that attempts to creep into our minds.

God’s power will give us what we need to get through each day living for Him.

God’s love will show us how to care and give to others so we can tell them about Him and lead them to Him.

God wants to be our strong arm every day directing us away from sin, saving us in times of trouble and comforting us in times of sorrow.

Isaiah 33:2 “But Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble.” (NLT)

Focus: Being strong all day long in doing the right thing requires faith in God and complete dependence on Him.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
