Default Need For Inner Change

Need For Inner Change

Today’s Billy Graham Daily Devotional

SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” —2 Corinthians 5:17

The world says that all we need to do is be decent, respectable, and reasonable. True, that is all one needs to do to be a member of the Great Society, but to be a member of the Kingdom of God, there must be an inner change. A Communist in Hyde Park, London, pointed to a tramp and said, “Communism will put a new suit on that man.” A Christian standing nearby said, “Yes, but Christ will put a new man in that suit!”

Prayer For The Day: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for the change that came deep within me when I received You.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

A MINUTE PRAYER COULD SAVE YOU “O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!” Congratulations! You are Born Again... Get closer to God by reading your BIBLE and worshiping with other believers.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
