Default Don't know how to pray or unsure of what to say?

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. (NLT) Romans 8:26

Don't know how to pray or unsure of what to say? Don't worry, just spend time with God and count on the Holy Spirit to pray on your behalf. Talking with God is an important part of a growing spiritual life. Do you forget to pray regularly? Share your thoughts with God while you do a daily habit such as brushing your teeth. This will help jump start your prayer life. Or write down your prayers in a journal to detail out your thoughts.

I was told a thought was a prayer, and my God hears the smallest whisper or prayer, and the one that seemed to work the best was `Help,` my God knows my needs and all I have to do is acknowledge Him.

Just talk to God or "think" to Him throughout your day. He knows our needs before we ask. Don't just ask--praise Him and love Him and thank Him for all He has done, for His forgiveness and love. He is our Lord God, but also our friend. He can handle anything you need to say to Him. Stop to listen. Read and pray scripture; He'll speak to you there. We are His children and He wants to hear from us.
