"BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU THINK BECAUSE YOUR THOUGHTS RUN YOUR LIFE." PROVERBS 4:23

Ever thought negative things about your ability, your appearance, your personality, what you have or don't have or about your life as a whole? Ever thought similar negative things about other people? Keep thinking like this and your going to have a pretty negative life, says God!
But how can you be careful about what you think though? Thoughts just pop into your head, right? You can't control what you think? Or how often you think it? Perhaps not?! But you can control what you do with them. You can stop them in mid flow:
1) Do the Maths: Each thought you have, ask yourself, 'Does God agree with it?' If He doesn't, think about what God would think instead! Positive thought + agreement with God = keep it. Negative thought + disagreement with God = chuck it.
2) Choose the subject: Keep doing maths and you'll soon learn God's thoughts about a whole loada stuff. You'll be able to recognise a bad thought instantly and can choose to switch the subject before it takes root. Get those bad thoughts in a choke-hold until they give up and submit to Jesus (2 Corinthians 10:5).
3) Don't feel your way: Don't rely on what you feel, go with what you know. We live by what we believe, not by what we can see. (2 Cororinthians 5:7) So, no playing mind games, be careful what you think. Word4U2Day
