Meth Support
I would like to invite any interested parties to join a new forum for support of those addicted to meth or those affected by a loved ones use. All methods of recovery are welcome.
http://www.camh.ca/en/hospital/healt..._handbook.aspx Found on another site. For me, a drug is a drug. The 12 Steps are applicable to all addictions. I had to learn to identify instead of compare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methadone_maintenance I had a sponsee that was put on this program quite a few years ago. I don't know very much about this addiction. I know friend who have been put on Methadone to come off of Heroin, and became addicted to the Methadone.

Sorry the old like didn't work. Replaced it with two others links.
I saw on one of the TV shows today pictures of the progression of a person when using Meth. It was so sad to watch. I also heard that it is called "Ice" and thought how fitting. It ices up your body, mind and spirit. God can't get through and the love of the family is powerless over this deadly disease. It is bad when you take a drug to treat addiction when the cure is as addictive as the substance it is suppose to aid and support. Methodone is more addictive than many other drugs and by the looks of things, kills faster. They said on the TV today that the pictures should put the fear into anyone, unless you are an addict. As they say, "You can't scare an addict."
