Default The Best Part

Only those of us who have lived that loveless, meaningless, life can truly appreciate what love is. It is so much more than we'll ever be capable of imagining, and it is what saves us. We'll come to know it in our recovery once again. It has a very powerful reach and when we are touched by it we change how we see ourselves. We'll be able to see who we really are, not who we think we are. There is no greater contentment that we'll ever find than to be able to love who we are, and when it happens if only briefly at first, everything stops, all our craziness, all the madness of our life, and in that moment the only thing that matters to us is we are experiencing loving of who we are. That is how powerful its effect is on us. Recovery will allow us to be able to go back to where we once were able to be free to love who we are. It's really true what's said in recovery, we will love you until you're able to love yourself.
