Default Christmas Countdown Day 15

Christmas Countdown Day 15 by SGLY Ministry

DWELL
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.Colossians 3:16 (NIV)

Today’s Thought:
Dwell means to live or stay as a permanent resident; reside,or to linger over, emphasize, or ponder in thought.

So this verse is saying we are to let the message of Christ, the gospel, and Christ’s word, live in our minds and hearts richly, which means abundantly.
This message and word should permanently reside in our hearts and minds. We should be so filled with it that it that it spills out all over wherever we go. It should be a natural part of our actions and speech all the time, everyday in every situation.

DWELL
…as God hath said, ” I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV)
ABIDE
Abide in Me and I will abide in you.(Jesus) John 15:4 (NKJV)
RESIDE
…God lives in us and His love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:12 (NIV)

So especially at this busy Christmas season lets make time to:

Linger over His word daily and ponder it.
Let’s emphasize His word in our daily life so we are prepared to share the message of the gospel with everyone we meet.
Let’s also sing joyfully to the Lord as we go about our daily tasks, knowing that He and His Word is always with us.

Only 10 days left until Christmas! Make each one count for Him!

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
