When I get needy, I get greedy. When I feel I need something, it is quite often an I want, because I know my God provides for me. So many times over the years, when it seemed to be the end, my God was there to supply my needs, lighten the load, and to brighten the path as to which way I needed to go.
Greedy is not wanting to be where you are in the moment, and you reach out to others in my disease. I need to go within and talk to my God. He will supply those needs quite often by sending me people, places and things with the Good Orderly Direction, He will give me the thoughts that will direct me, if I am open to receive them. Sometimes it is harder to receive than give, and a lot depends on our attitude and willingness to do God's Will, instead of passing off our 'wants' as Divine Orderly Good. As they say, make plans, but don't plan the outcome. Sometimes we ask for our needs, not realizing that our God has even greater things in store for us. So many times my outlook in narrow, limiting, and falls short of my God's vision for me. That is when I practice the principles of the first three steps: honesty, surrender, acceptance, open mindedness, and willingness. Today I don't need someone in my life, they are there because I want them there. I can't look to others to fulfill my needs. I need to be complete and whole within myself. I was told to find a partner who was on the opposite side of the Zodiac. I am an Aries. My definition of me is someone who has the right foot forward and the left foot doesn't know it has to move yet. Very reactionary, on the go, and very much in the moment. My opposite is Libra. Mr. Balance drives me crazy because it is something I have to strive for daily. Mr. Balance can't give me what I need, but He/She can show me how it is done.
