We all want to heal but from what and how are the questions for all of us when we all come into recovery. Our problem for all of us is within us with little hope of any of us being able to have any understanding exactly what it is. This is where recovery can help all of us if we're willing to let it, but this becomes another problem for most of us because we won't. Most of us think we already know what our problem is and what recovery is all about, when none of us have any real idea of what either of these two things are all about, and even when we're so sure that we do know, most of us find we've been wrong about all of this. This problem is not something that's all that difficult to understand and the process by which any of us can recover from it that's found in recovery is not that difficult to do either. What proves to be difficult is trying to get all of us to have this knowledge and understanding when we think we already know when we know we don't. Herein lies the problem for all of us when we're all new to recovery. If we really did know why we would even be here in the first place wouldn't we all just fix ourselves and be on our way? If we can just put aside if only for just a moment what we all think we already know the healing will begin for all of us, when and if we're able to do this, otherwise we'll all be stuck with what we all came in with, that never has worked for any of us and is part of the problem for all of us.
