I was an Akron Alkee for two days about 40 years ago. I went with my ex-husband, my mother-in-law and two of his sisters to his cousins wedding in Akron, Ohio. At the time, I didn't know about AA. I was so hung over the next day after the reception, which I don't remember (this is a truth the alkee self would not admit to, I never had a black out), and I was too sick to help with the drive home.
