Just For Today – Day 19 - Putting Off Thoughts by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put off all…THOUGHTS
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways.” says the Lord. “For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8,9 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
Stop and think about your thoughts. What is on your mind?

As believers we are to have the mind of Christ (1 Cor.2:16)

Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5 (NKJV)

Just for Today lets try to put off our thoughts and think as Jesus would. Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established. Prov.16:3 (NKJV)

Today’s Prayer:
Just for Today, Dear Lord,

I will put aside all of my thoughts and seek Your mind.
I will stop thinking and start praying.
I will stop having thoughts of what to do and start reading Your word to know Your way to go.
I will put off my mind and put on the mind of Christ.
