My feet weren't swollen like they have been for months, then I had two gentlemen friends arrive, one invited, the other the man in my life who dropped by unexpectedly, and then my son showed. I received an e-mail earlier today which was about how we use the "blame game" to justify our behaviour, thoughts, etc., but anything from outside of ourselves is but a reflection of our own inner truth.

Humility and gratitude run hand in hand. The promises come true as we lower our ego and thank God for our friends family and fellowship.

Many people don't get their family back. It took me a long time to find the acceptance of their attitude toward the 'alcoholic' and the condescension that I received. The fellowship(s) loved me and put me back together.

Today:singing again

Again today I found myself singing! This morning it was to my sister's cats, I have always had cats, but lost mine when I lost my house back in the days when I was active. Then had to leave the cats I lived with that belonged to my roommate when I moved here. My sister has 12 cats and I've come to know their sweet individual personalities. About six of them were on her bed this morning and I just started singing "Sunshine, you are my sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey.. " It brought me back to a time when I was so innocent and it felt really good. I am very thankful for it!:-)
