Just heard that my sister has been nauseated and not doing to well. Your continued prayers would be appreciated.

Thank you Dave and Tammy. I went in to see her today. I didn't wake up with the sore throat, even so, I wore a mask to go in to see her. She looked better than she did last week. They still have a tube down her throat and she isn't liking it. They figure in a couple of days she will be able to come off the oxygen to breathe on her own, so prayer is working.
All prayers are appreciated. http://i415.photobucket.com/albums/p...dInsects14.gif |

Thank you, she did not have a good day today. I really don't think the doctors know what to do about her. I can only see God's Grace and healing power as a solution to her recovery. She does have pneumonia and they are trying to get the fluid off her lungs and trying to get her off the oxygen so she can be mobile.

Haven't been well enough to go see my sister. Today I slept the day away, so couldn't very well go if I had wanted to. She is not much better, they are having problems getting her mobile and removing the fluid from her lungs.
I have been praying, and hopefully that will be enough. Your prayers are appreciated. http://www.picgifs.com/graphics/k/ki...ugs-148207.gif |

Found out my son hasn't been getting any text from my niece and tried to get hold of my brother-in-law, but there was no answer.

My brother-in-law never phoned me back although I called twice yesterday. I am going to try to go and see her if it isn't too humid. I don't like not knowing how she is.

Thanks Tammy and to all others who have kept my sister in their prayers. I went to see her today and was saddened by the fact that she did not look much improved. I didn't like her colour and she still has the tube down her throat. She does not look that much improved although my niece says that the doctors and nurses have been doing therapy to help her. She has much more faith in the medical profession than I have.

Thanks for your continuing prayers. My sister did not look good today.
I don't think I slept, laid down at 8 p.m. and looked at the clock again and it was 8:31 p.m. I have been fighting pain all night and I have done meditation, watched tennis, talked on the phone and with my son. My meditation card said, "I release all fears and doubts. I talked to a friend and her sister was in the hospital for 5 months. That gave me a lot of hope and will continue to pray. https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.M...=0&w=300&h=300 |

Thanks for your prayers. My sister had the operation today to insert the tube in her neck instead of in her mouth. She can now go on regular foods and not be fed by IV. She has smiles and frowns today, so that was good.
Her blood pressure and pulse were up. I asked about it and they said they had her on medication by IV. Thank you for your prayers they work. Continued prayers would be appreciated. http://www.quia.com/files/quia/users...butterfly2.gif |
Went to see my sister today, she is much more lucid and she was able to smile at her daughter's antics. My error, I misunderstood my niece, she is still being fed by IV.
I didn't stay too long, even though I covered up and wore a mask, I didn't want to give her anything or pick up anything that will make my situation worse. I will be glad when I get the results of my tests. I haven't wanted to stay away, but I have had to be cautious and only go when I am feeling good. I go up there and when I come home I crash. So I would appreciate continued prayers for her and her family. This is exactly how I have been feeling. https://mariaslittlegame.files.wordp...osition_03.gif |
My hubby's pulse was up when they were giving him antibiotics by IV in the hospital.

Thank you for your prayers. I didn't get up to see her. I had to go to the clinic and it was too hot for me to be out too long. The humidex was 119.

My son got a text from my niece to say that my sister is walking and talking a little bit.
Sounds good. Thank you for your prayer. It is good to see God's Work in action. Your continued prayers would be appreciated. http://animationsa2z.com/attachments...ahug/ahug6.gif |
Great news. I will be continuing prayer. :42:

Good to hear she is up and about. I will continue to pray for her.

She didn't look as good today as she overdid things yesterday. They have given her a walker to get up and walk around.

Thank you for all your prayers. They seem to be working, I went to see her today and she was sitting up reading and that was after doing 2 1/2 lapse of the ward.
She is much more bright eyes and she is off all narcotics. I think they are taking the tube out of her throat tomorrow, not sure if it is that for the feeding tube, more will be revealed. The nursing staff is amazed at how far she has come. I told them it was an answer to prayer. |
Just want to thank everyone for your prayers. My sister is being moved out of ICU today, as soon as they find a bed for her. They have removed most of the tubing and she is mobile and talking. Prayer works!

Thanks everyone. I went to see my sister for about two hours today. She is sitting up and can talk, they are removing the last of the tubing tomorrow and depending on test results, she will be going home Monday or Tuesday. The staff are really surprised at how well she has done. Sadly, the words I am hearing from my sister are, "I am a strong woman, I...." It made me sad. Didn't hear much about through God, I have healed and through His Love and Care, I am doing better.

Phoned my sister the other day and she didn't have time to talk because she had 22 kids in her day care. She said, "It is okay, I am not lifting the kids." Another day I phoned only to find that she had a rash around the incision in her throat from the bandaging they used.
I worried that when she got home she wouldn't have proper care and she wouldn't take care of herself, because I wasn't too sure anyone else would be there to do it. A lot of attention when she was in the hospital. I got a call from her today to say that she has got infection in her toe, where the infection started that landed her in the hospital in the first place. She said, "Hopefully, this time we caught in time." Please continue prayers for her, even if it is to pray for her to practice some self-care. |

Just talked to my sister this morning. Her toe is still infected and she thinks she has the shingles. I said, "Have you been to the doctor's?" She said, "No, but I have to make an appointment." She had been waiting for someone to take her. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. Everyone else is too sick or too busy. She doesn't drive, so she is dependant on others because she lives in the country, but she is a great one for putting things off and putting others first to her own detrement. Not sure that is spelled right, but it still means, that she gets sicker and sicker, and that is how she got into the hospital the last time.
Your continued prayers would be appreciated. http://angelwinks.ca/images/versepod/versepod699.jpg |

Talked to my sister last week when she said that her toe was still infected. I said, "Get to the doctor's!!!"
She phoned me today to say that she had been to a health clinic, but never saw her doctor. She is on the fair board and she informed me that she had worked there for two hours and had to be taken to the hospital. She is on more antibiotics. My son said, "She is stubborn just like you Mom." I can't see my heart, I can just feel it go boom once in a while. She can see her toe and know it is infected. She was in the hospital for 8 weeks before, she knows where this can take her if she doesn't take care of herself. She also says that she thinks she has shingles. The clinic said it was pulled muscle. She said that the pain was much more than that. Even after all that, if her treatment by a VON is over by Sunday, she wants to go up and see our aunt who is celebrating 100 years. I think her toe is more important. There is no reason why she can't wait another week. Your prayers for her would be appreciated. http://angelwinks.ca/images/specatmysidecard.jpg |

Thank you. She called me today to say that she has to be home for VON at 1:30 p.m. for the next four days, which means no trip up north. I hope she listens to herself.
Your prayers are appreciated. |
Just got word that my sister is back in the hospital. She has a red lump on the calf of her leg, so it looks like the infection is back even though she said it is only 2 weeks since she was off antibiotics.
They are puzzled about the pain she has had in her rib area and her skin hurts to touch. I sounds like Polymyalgia, something I was diagnosed with many years ago when I was diagnosed with the Fibromyalgia. Your skin hurts to touch and it hurts to have clothes and bedding touch your body. She is like me and can't take arthritis medication. She is worse than me, she is allergic to just about everything. Your continued prayers would be appreciated. https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.M...=0&w=300&h=300 |
