Introduction

Hello all,

I am 34 years old, living in central New York. I have a wonderful, supportive family, consisting of my mate, our two children, and my parents.

Currently, I have around 6 months of continuous sobriety. I attend 5 - 10 meetings a week, have a home group, and I believe in God.

I am looking forward to being a member of this forum, where I will be able to connect with like-minded people and learn more about recovery.

My name is Mary and I wanted to personally welcome you to our community. We are a group of people that support and encourage each other in recovery.

I would like to offer a few suggestions:
Begin each day by reading the Daily Recovery Readings:

This is a good way to start your day grounded in recovery.

Please browse our Daily check-in Forum, many of us post here daily.

Read through some of them and you can get to know us and where we are with our recovery. You can start one of your own.....as you will see, many of us have been journaling here for some time.

There is tons of information here at the site. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any help navigating the site or have specific issues you would like help with.
I'm so glad you found us!!

Welcome Mike, look forward to sharing with you. My name is JoAnne and I live in Ontario, Canada.

Have material in addictions, all over the board. I consider alcohol a drug, at least that is what NA told me. I know I started there, and when it stopped working for me, it lead me to other stuff.
