It's An Inside Job
 

It may take all of us a long time to know and understand what the problem is for all of us because so few of us who show up here at recovery will truly know exactly what that is, or realizing what we can do about this problem. We all think that we know but none of us do. A few of us that come into recovery might have some idea of what's wrong with us, but for most of us we don't have any idea to what this really is and it may take a whole lifetime for us to know and understand this about ourselves, and it's okay that it does because that's what recovery is all about helping each and everyone of us so we can find this out for ourselves and what we can all do about this, and when we do our life takes on a new meaning for all of us. To do this we all need to start looking inside ourselves and we're all pointed in that direction to do so by recovery so all of us can find this out about ourselves so we can all solve our problem that's not outside of any of us like so many of us have thought that it was, and been trying to solve it in this way so far to avail. The battle for all of us is raging from within us and until we know and understand this so we can learn how to do something about this for all of us there is very little hope, until we start to realize that it's an inside job that being done to all of us, that needs to be looked at, and worked on first, before any of us will ever be able to get recovery for ourselves.
