My Service Pet

Just letting people know i am putting my second cat down today for excessive vomiting. I put my other one down on the 13th of July. On the 20th of July i brought this cat in for emergency visit due to vomiting and etc. Now he is doing so again so i have to put him down.
I am not going to have anymore pets after this. It is too hard.
If you could think of me today and send a prayer up for me for strength i would appreciate it. thank you. ~ Amber

I am so very sorry to hear about your kitties Amber. My heart goes out to you. I know how difficult it can be to lose a loved one. I pray for you daily and will continue to do so. :42:

I spent 2.5 hrs at the emergency vets. they did not put Zeb down. the previous vet had me feeding him dry. NO, i am to feed him wet. and a lot of other things. so they did not charge me, sent me home to get different food and feed it to him. and i am going from there. that is it.
ty for the prayers. i still need them. tomorrow i will go to the store in town and buy more food for him. he needs it. and no more dry. there you have it.
vets contradicting one another.

UPdate update Zeb is on food diet change for the medical condition. I also want to pass this on to any pet owner with vomiting issues. Go buy SPRING WATER and only give that to them to drink. It will balance out its body to vomit less and stop vomiting. Our water has Flouride and Chlorine which both are considered poison on tap. It can build up toxins over time and pets being smaller absorb it faster. I am doing this also with the diet. I am already seeing results a couple of days now of improvements. ty for the prayers

I am glad to hear that Zeb is improving. I will continue prayer. :42:

I am a dog owner, but I understand loving our fur babies and being concerned when we think it's time to put them down. My oldest dog is 12. He has cushings, pancreatitis, cataract blindness and diabetes. It's a real challenge to work my day around his medical schedule

Not sure if you are a Christian...but there is a site called Rainbows bridge. It tells about our fur babies waiting for us this side of heaven. I have lost dogs over the years ant that poem always is such a comfort to me! LIN

I had to put my dog down a couple of years ago. He was my "therapy dog" and companion. He was definitely a big part of my sobriety journey. I still miss him today. Chip was originally bought to be my son's dog. He said, "I'll take care of it." That never happened. He turned out to be my dog. I had him for 10 -1/2 years.
