D is for Detch. Detaching doesn't mean we don't love and care. It generally means we care too much and are enabling you in your disease, and we feed our own dis-ease by focusing on you instead of ourselves.

D is for Defiance. God and I are working on this. I still have trouble with, "Don't tell me what to do." My sponsor said, "Do an about face and do the opposite of what you have been doing." That was after 49 years of living, I had a lot of work to do.
